These firescreens are custom built from stock designs to fit your fireplace. Some restrictions as to width apply to 2-door firescreens for reasons of engineering.  You are encouraged to use 4-door firescreens on widths over 48".  These firescreens are fitted with 8 x 8 x .028 stainless steel mesh screens painted black. Any of our "stock" firescreens can be fitted with 1/4" tempered plate glass in lieu of screens.  This requires the addition of vents for air intake and usually increases the price of the firescreen by $200.00 to $500.00, depending on the screen.
